Damaged
Grimm. Now has tranquilizers from the vet and will unfortunately spend his life under the influence. The most severe case of seperation anxiety I have seen or read! Terrified of thunder and fireworks! Hates to be alone and will follow me around the house as long as he's not alone. Once when there was thunder, he tried to climb into my dryer to get away from it.
If we have to leave we have to put him in his carrier, he starts drooling, panting, and whining. He has chewed out of 5 cages. The last one we bought was super strong steel. He managed to chew out of the bottom by breaking the weld with what was left of his teeth and bent it just far enough to get out. Of course his stomach was cut, his nose, more of his teeth, and his front legs.
I have cried so many times over this dog. I hate to see him suffer, but when we leave he gets diahrea and cannot control himself. He's cost us so much money. I have tried to find him a home where someone could bring him everywhere with them, no one wants him. He's stuck here and even though he loves us unconditionally, we can't care for him the way he needs. I read that when dogs have such terrible anxieties, the only humane thing to do is put them to sleep. This has kept me up many nights. Am I wrong to drug him so that his pain is lessened, or is it more painful to kept him alive? Having to put our other dog to sleep, Baxter was one of the most painful gut wrenching things I ever had to do. Even then, Baxter was suffering and I knew it. I thought I was doing him justice by giving him his peace. Two years later, I still feel the pain and see his body lying there on the floor. Why would I think that kind of pain was finished for me. Grimm will make me pay now. Still it's worth it to have them excited when I do get home. Watch how happy they are when I throw the ball all the way down the backyard and see them prance up the hill. They're happiest when Bill throws it because he get so much more distance!! *sigh*

Music Industry, Blah
The latest in the fight with shared music sites. The RIAA has sued a mother of two for her like, 12 songs downloaded on KAZAA. Something like $80,000 per song. Ridiculous!! Here is a quote from a musical artist that not many people appreciate:
Moby “I don’t know, but ‘it’s better to be feared than respected’ doesn’t seem like such a sustainable business model when it comes to consumer choice. How about a new model of ‘it’s better to be loved for helping artists make good records and giving consumers great records at reasonable prices’?”
Seems like a plan to me!
Radiohead is also an advocate who protests against the RIAA.
More quotes: San Francisco Chronicle,

"They're protecting an archaic industry," said the Grateful Dead's Bob Weir.
"They should turn their attention to new models."
"This is not rocket science," said David Draiman of Disturbed, a hard-rock band with a platinum debut album on the charts. "Instead of spending all this money litigating against kids who are the people they're trying to sell things to in the first place, they have to learn how to effectively use the Internet."
I will purposely go on my Itunes account now, and buy some songs from those groups. It's not the bands that benefit from these rules, it's the record labels, and the bands know it!!

Cunning or Lonely
Well, I used the treadmill today, our old timer, Bobo likes to sit on the bottom of the treadmill while I use it. I kept thinking, "How cute!" He must have wanted my company? While I was using it, I had to keep watching my feet because his tail kept "swishing" back and forth. All I could think of was, is he trying to kill me? I almost lost my balance and then realized that if I did, I would have fell on the treadmill and ended up on the highway behind our house with force of it! I'm begining to think maybe he was'nt trying to be so cute, hehe. So... it's up for a vote? Cunning or lonely?

Kittae
Here is the new Kittae! Danielle pouted and got her way with Dad. The name you ask? Why it's.... Oreo! I know, I know, you had no idea. Funny, Bill said, "Just when you think being a parent can't make you anymore stupid?" "You think, No more cats in this house! Then your daughter pouts and... BAM, Emeril's in your house, nah, just kidding" But it is 9 weeks and it's a boy! Yes, just when you thought we couldn't fit anymore pets in this house, we did!

Kaytee's Blog Entry
Hello everyone ,I wanted to do my own little entry on Mom's website,so I decided on the topic of: Our Doggies!!! So about our doggies, we have Dahlia- she is a black Labrador Retriever.(p.s she's my dog),Dixie- is a gold colored (hints Golden Retriever) Golden Retriever(she is also my dad's dog) ,and last but not least Grimm,( he's mom's dog) he is good with kids, but he's afraid of thunder so he is basically hell on Earth.Grimm is a cross between a German Shepard and a Doberman,we're not so sure on the Doberman part though.... Now that you know what breed they are it's time to know about their personality's.Since I already described Grimm to you lets start with Dahlia. As you know she is a black Lab,Dahlia is my dog and as her owner I say she is very motherly -like.By the way Dahlia also loves FOOD,but the funniest part of that is she goes crazy if you ask her if she wants to "eat some food".Dahlia is also very intelligent.
On to Dixie , also you already know she's a Golden Retriever.Anyway Dixie is a very nice puppy but she absolutely adores my father! But you should know how we got her.It all started when my dad's former dog Baxter died. Baxter was a Golden Retriever just like Dixie but he was so gold they didn't think he was a pure bred!Well my dad was really sad when he died so 4 days later he had said he had to go to Lancaster to get some work done.
But my mom kept telling my sister, brother and I that Daddy really misses Baxy.So when he finally got home My sister,Danielle screamed at the top of her lungs, and I quote ,"DADDY GOT A PUPPY!".So we later named her Dixie and that's how we ended up with her.
The End

The Lawnmower Man
We have a problem, we have a septic tank. Yea... yuk! Not only that, but they the builder set it up stinks! He has it right up to the house. He set it on level ground and built the sand pile UP! You can't decorate much around it because anything you do is too dangerous to the tank. It really sucks. The vent pipes come up through the sand pile and every Landscaping company that has come I have explained in way too much detail, that they are there (IN PLAIN SIGHT) and to be extra careful when mowing there. The first two morons hit a pipe and fixed it themselves making the vent even taller!
Moved on the next company thinking it was a mature man in his 50's with much more experience. Ha Ha Ha. His mentally challenged worker hit two of the pipes on separate occasions. The second time, he didn't even have the brain workings to tell. Instead, he carefully set the broken pipe on the porch under a planting!!!!
On to third Landscaper. I spent time explaining to him all of the above. Luckily the only pipe he hit on the second time mowing the lawn was just a marker! AHHHHHHHHHH! What do I need to do? Mow it myself?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not gotten rid of this third guy. But I am clearly on my way to doing so. He never shows up when he says. I have told him to mow the lawn short because of a tick problem we have. Since he doesn't show up when he says he will, (and this is the rainy season) the grass is so long, we can't even walk through it!! We have over an acre of grass! C'mon. Someone help me out here! I know this doesn't require the brains of a brain surgeon, but ... I will have to take a picture so you can see how long it is.
